Initial membership in the Compass Rose Society is $10,000 for individuals, parishes, dioceses, seminaries, or others. Some parishes, like St. Alban's in Washington, D.C., Christ Church in Ponte Vedra, Florida, and cathedral chapters, like the Seattle Society in Seattle, Washington, pool funds from many individuals in order to raise the initial funding and to sustain their annual membership.

Sustaining membership continues through voluntary annual gifts at an amount the member considers appropriate.
