The Canadian Compass Rose Society held its Annual General Meeting in Toronto on June 16th.
Bishop Poole, President of the International Society and Secretary of the Canadian Board, spoke on the activities of Compass Rose International over the last year. He mentioned the international AGM last year in Canterbury, the study trip to Cyprus as well as his attendance at the recent meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council.
Bruce Chambers, Treasurer, provided the financial report. He noted that total revenue was down about 11% in 2008 as compared to 2007. Bruce also explained that the increase in professional fees was in large part due to a contract for services for which the Canadian Society is reimbursed by the International board.
