CRS at Lambeth 2008
By Terry Noble
Jul. 7, 2008
The Compass Rose Society will be present at the 2008 Lambeth Conference, spreading the news of our ministries in support of the Anglican Communion.
A banner and video presentation will highlight our display in the Marketplace section of the Conference. The booth will be staffed by volunteers from the Society, who will hand out a letter from Bishop Poole that highlights the contributions of the Society to ministries throughout the worldwide Communion.
Norris Battin, a Compass Rose member from Newport Beach, California, is one of the volunteers who will be at Lambeth. He will be posting a blog of Bishop Poole's Lambeth experience along with his own observations from the Marketplace that can be read at http://norris.typepad.com/canterbury_tails/ .
We invite you follow Norris' blog as shares his time at Lambeth with us.
Bishop George Councell, diocesan bishop of New Jersey and a member of the Society, is also writing a blog about Lambeth at http://newjerseyincanterbury.blogspot.com/ .
