Dear friends,

Welcome to the newly upgraded website of the Compass Rose Society an International Organization which seeks to support the ministry of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Anglican Communion. The over 270 members from 8 countries make common cause in providing resources for our Anglican brothers and sisters in different parts of the world.

Our members are invited to an Annual Meeting in London England the highlight of which is a very personal dinner at Lambeth Palace hosted by our Patron the Archbishop of Canterbury and Mrs. Williams. Each year members are invited on a mission trip in the company of the Secretary General of the Anglican Communion Canon Kenneth Kearon. These mission trips are an opportunity for members to experience in an unique way the ministry undertaken by Anglicans in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. In the past mission trips have taken us to Tanzania, Cuba, Jerusalem, South Africa and Mexico among other places. We meet with the local bishops and often with senior political figures to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and conditions in which ministry takes place.

In the last couple of years we have added study trips to our annual agenda most recently to Rome and Salisbury as we retrace the roots of the Anglican expression of Christianity.

The mission and study trips provide wonderful opportunities to enter into relationships with people from different parts of the world, to know them by name, to pray for them and support them in a variety of ways. Most of our members would say that they receive far more than they give.
