Compass Rose Society Spring Board Meeting Update

Members of the Compass Rose Society Board gathered at the spring board meeting in Alexandria, Virginia, with several attendees joining in person and others participating via video conference.

On April 29–30, the Board of the Compass Rose Society held a grace-filled and productive board meeting in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Board was blessed by the presence of Bishop Poggo, who shared the challenges — but more so — the incredible opportunities facing the Anglican Communion at this time. In addition to reports on the current state of the Society's finances and membership, the Board worked to update the Society's bylaws and met with a professional fundraising consultant.

Renewed commitment to the Anglican Communion

Members of the Board are more committed than ever to our purpose of supporting the faithful ministry of the Anglican Communion Office, the upcoming gathering of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) in Belfast, and the international work of our new Archbishop of Canterbury.

We call on our Anglican siblings from around the Communion to join us in this sacred work — fostering unity and supporting God's mission within our beautiful Anglican family. God is truly blessing our efforts as we seek to create a place of belonging for all within the Compass Rose Society.
